Fortifi Companies Showcase Technology at Alimentaria FoodTech 2026
AiRA, Bettcher, Kais, LIMA, Nothum and Provisur present production-line options
THE WOODLANDS, Texas, September 3, 2026 – Companies within the Fortifi Food Processing Solutions (“Fortifi”) unified platform of leading global brands will highlight production solutions at Alimentaria FoodTech 2026 from October 6-8 at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue in Barcelona, Spain. Representatives from Bettcher, Nothum, Provisur, AiRA and Kais will be on hand in Gran Vía Pavilion 2, Level 0, Street D, Stand 451. Representatives from LIMA will be in Gran Vía Pavilion 2, Level 0, Street C, Stand 450 with distributor Exclusivas Jofersa, S.A.
AiRA will demonstrate robotic solutions designed to automate demanding meat processing operations. These include the Belly Trimmer as well as robotic solutions for primary cutting.
The AiRA team will be on hand to discuss how automated operations and more integrated processing solutions can enhance existing and new production lines. These AiRA solutions show how robotics replace labor-intensive manual operations to provide consistent, precise processing at high line speeds. AIRA combines advanced robotics, vision technology and purpose-built processing tools to help meat processors improve yield, product consistency, hygiene and operational efficiency while they reduce dependency on manual labor.
KAIS will showcase how its new S6 software version enables companies to manage and optimize production within a single, integrated environment, where data becomes an active source of recommendations and decision-making support. During the event, a KAIS S6 workstation connected directly to an AiRA robot will demonstrate real-time interaction between robotics and production management systems. This live demonstration will showcase how intelligent automation, artificial intelligence and connected operations can work together to improve efficiency, traceability and production control in modern food processing facilities.
The KAIS platform integrates seamlessly with production lines, robotic equipment and IoT devices, enabling fully automated plant floor management and real-time data exchange. Artificial intelligence takes center stage in S6, which incorporates AI natively throughout the entire production process. This significant evolution of KAIS’ ERP, MES and MOM solutions for the food industry delivers a more dynamic, intuitive user experience through simplified navigation, greater configurability and faster access to critical operational information.
KAIS IA, an artificial intelligence layer embedded across the different KAIS modules, monitors operations in real time, analyzes large volumes of plant data and anticipates deviations, so users make faster, better-informed decisions. The S6 platform also introduces powerful new solutions, including advanced Analytics, Planner and Quality modules, that provides companies with greater visibility, enhanced production planning capabilities and comprehensive quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
Bettcher will present trimmers, skinners, and steeling and sharpening products. Bettcher’s pneumatic and electric Quantum Flex® Trimmers improve performance and durability with any Bettcher motor system. Bettcher Quantum and Quantum S motors power smooth, effortless trimmer operation with adaptive controls and the option of ultra-high energy efficiency. The Bettcher Quantum Driveline provides maintenance-free operation.
Bettcher also will demonstrate its versatile Cyclone Skinner®, which offers a useful handheld skinning option for numerous applications. The Whizard Versa® Trimmer enables smaller processing lines and operations to take advantage of Whizard® trimmer features. These include a unique Twist-N-Go head to use one tool for multiple applications, and a motor in the handpiece to avoid the need for a bulky external motor. Bettcher sharpening and steeling equipment offers manual and electric options to keep Whizard blades sharp, for use on or near the production line.
Nothum representatives will spotlight the functionality of Nothum coating and frying equipment. The versatile Nothum SuperFlex four-in-one breading machine yields consistent results with flat, drum, tripleflip and handtoss modes, replaces multiple machines and achieve changeovers in minutes. The Nothum BatterPro All-in-one Batter and Tempura Machine automatically mixes and chills ingredients while it maintains controlled viscosity for consistent batter or tempura application. The Nothum ProTherm Continuous Fryer uses 33% less frying oil for consistent product quality with multiple efficiencies. The Nothum VersaCoat Flatbed Breading Machine low-charge breading system handles multiple coating types – from fine flours to coarse crumbs – without compromising coating integrity.
The Provisur Separation team will be at Alimentaria FoodTech to highlight comprehensive options as the only supplier that offers rotary, belt, and press technology. Processes from AM2C®, Beehive®, STS, Bone Cannon and Hoegger® achieve high-yield separation of bone fragments, sinew, cartilage and other materials for efficient production of meat, poultry, fish, fruits and vegetables.
The Provisur Further Processing team also will be at the show to present options including the VerTex® 660 former, with exceptional versatility, product texture and portion control for all burger types with 30%-40% more capacity than its footprint. The VerTex uses a pivoting hopper and easily removable feed screws for quick, simple cleaning. Its innovative features reduce downtime and maintenance costs while they increase productivity. A servo-controlled dual lobe pump provides precise filling from a fully enclosed system that ensures product integrity and virtually eliminates leakage. Tender-Form rotary forming delivers tender, juicy, homemade taste with better overall shape, consistent cooking and internal temperatures.
LIMA will demonstrate the RM 1200 SM meat-bone separator that yields very high-quality ground desinewed red or white meat from boneless raw materials (beef and pork trimmings, shank meat, aponeurosis, poultry trimmings, deboned thigh and drumstick meat, wishbones, fillets). An anti-bridging arm enables the machine to grind and desinew meats even with a completely full hopper. With a small footprint and operator-friendly design, it operates continuously, consumes little energy and requires no pregrinding, even on large pieces.
