Karl Deily

Independent Board Director, Fortifi Food Processing Solutions

Karl Deily joined as an Independent Advisory Board member at Bettcher Industries in 2017, which is part of the Fortifi Food Processing Solutions family of companies. He is a longstanding member of the North American Meat Institute (NAMI) Board, where he served two terms on the executive committee and received the prestigious NAMI Supplier of the Year Award in 2012. Beyond NAMI, Karl contributes his expertise to various other boards and committees related to the food and packaging industry.

Prior to joining Fortifi, Karl was appointed as the Senior Vice President (SVP) and C

hief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Sealed Air Corporation. He also held the position of President of the food care division where he oversaw a valuation of $2.8 billion, providing packaging solutions and services globally.

Karl holds his B.S. in microbiology and his M.S. in food science from Clemson University.
